He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Kenneth Minard and Venita Minard; his children, Gary Anthony "Tony" Minard (Bonnie), Dion Graham and Nikki Baker (Mike); his grandchildren, Jessica Gilly (Adam), Derrick Minard and Brittney Baker; and his wife Peggy Courtney Minard.
