It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Lee Bridges of Gallion, Alabama, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Clint Whitfield and Effie Marie Duke; her husband Glen Bridges; and her siblings, Clint Atkins "Pete" Duke and Bessie Marie Duke Thigpen.

She is survived by : her daughters, Linda Bridges Massey (Luther) and Pamela Holmes Boutwell (Wyndell); her sister Joyce Elizabeth Duke Baty; her grandchildren, Lil Massey Emory, William Marc Holmes (Hannah), William Matthew Holmes (Abi) and Luther Bridges Massey (Fran); and her great grandchildren, Avery Emory, Libby Emory, Colt Holmes, Camden Holmes and Lucy Ann Massey.
