He was predeceased by: his parents, Tira Eugene and Dorothy Ingram Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Brenda H. Johnston; his children, Eddie Johnston (Lynn), Byron Johnston (Salinda) and Renee Hinson (Keith); and his sister Dorothy Jean Davis (Donald). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Providence Baptist Church (36560 AL-69, Gallion, AL 36742). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Providence Cemetery (36560 AL-69, Gallion, AL 36742).
