He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Royster Wheeler and Louise Boyette Wheeler; and his siblings, Royce Wheeler, Van Wheeler and Eloise Shuford.
He is survived by: his siblings, Myron Wheeler and Katie Wheelis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home (2214 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at the Bethel United Methodist Cemetery.
