She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, David Mitchell, III and Debbie Mitchell-Ensley (Rick); her grandchildren, Shay Doss (Byron), TIffany Wiginton (Barry), Brittain Mitchell and Phillip Rowe; her great grandchildren, Hayley Grace Doss, Beckham Wiginton and Emersyn Wiginton; her brothers, Jimmy Long and Jerry Long; her pets, Dudley Oliver Mitchell and Tucker Anthony Ensley; her husband David Mitchell, Jr.; her parents, C. G. Long and Wima Long; her uncle Amos; her aunt Cora Porter; and her brothers, Charles Long, Max Long and Donald Long. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews along with bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which Bonnie supported, or the Greater Birmingham Humane Society, where she adopted Dudley.
