He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Daniel and Fanny Mae Daniel; his daughter Melanie McCombs; his daughter-in-law Jeneen Daniel; and his siblings, Archie Daniel, Hershel Daniel, Herbert Daniel, James Daniel, Audrey McCleney, Peggy Glover and Lucy Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Faye J. Daniel; his sister Jackie Perry (Donnie Perry); and his children, Rick Daniel (Jennifer), Eddie Daniel (Cindy) and Heath Daniel. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
