He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Ann Pope; his mother Essie Taylor; and his son Mark Pope. He is survived by: his wife Arleen Pope; his sister Linda Underwood (Rick); his son Mattison Pope (Gay); his grandchildren, Justin Pope (Maribeth) and Kristin Lyvers (Matthew); and his great grandchildren, Colby, Blake Pope, Emily, Michael and Carden Lyvers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Charles Junior Pope went to be with his Lord on Monday, March 16, 2026, at age 88, following a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
