Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Charlotte Nelson of Gardendale, Alabama, who passed away at the age of 79, on July 24, 2025. She was predeceased by: her husband William F. "Sonny" Nelson; her parents, Richard Horton and Mildred Horton; and her siblings, Houston Horton and Bebe Broadhead.
She is survived by: her son Christopher Shaun Nelson (Keeli) of Gardendale; and her grandchildren, Emma Nelson, Carter Nelson, Olivia Nelson and Seth Nelson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridout's Gardendale Chapel (2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
