She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert Scott and Juanita Spruiell Scott; and her son Jeff. She is survived by: her husband Herschel Yerby of Mount Olive; her daughter Tonya; her children-in-law, Mike Freeman of Fayette and Shara Yerby of Cullman; her grandchildren, Zack Freeman (Austyn), Madi McCool (Logan), Hannah Yerby and Dalton Yerby; and her great grandchildren, Andy Freeman and Elzie McCool.
