She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Clayton Metcalf; and her granddaughter Brandy Askew. She is survived by: her sons, Eddie (Brad), John (Bryan Metcalf) and Paul Metcalf; her stepson Ronald Pruitt; her daughter Lisa Barnes (Lester); her grandchildren, Heather Kirkpatrick (Alexandria Alley), Adryana, Charisma Metcalf, Kristy Cinnamon and Kyndra Metcalf; and her great grandchildren, Aubrey Kirkpatrick, Jimmy Askew and Levi Askew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home (2214 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at the Midway Cemetery.
