He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Graves "Cooney" Moore and Faris Moore; his wife Sharon Gardner Moore; his brother Wayne Nelson; his children, Scott Moore (Rhonda) and Staci Moore; his grandchildren, Ashton Moore (Ryan), Hunter Moore (Elizabeth) and Heath Moore (Lexi); and his sister Gail McCarty. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gardendale Heritage Funeral Home (2214 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071).
