She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Johnson and Stella Johnson of Warrior, Alabama.; her husband Thomas Hayden Creel; her son Wesley Creel; her son-in-law Richard McFalls; and her sisters, Nell Isbell and Betty Ryan.

She is survived by: her children, Terry McFalls and Jeff (Linda); her grandchildren, Jeremy Creel (April), Jason Creel (Traci) and Tracy Creel; and her siblings, Gwin Johnson, Jimmie Ryan and Jean Deason. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
