The memory of Jerry Dean Hollis of Gardendale, Alabama, who passed away on February 23, 2026 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Dean Hollis and Udora Pauline Hollis; and his siblings, Lewis James Hollis and Paula Hollis Handley. He is survived by: his wife Diane Hollis; his daughters, Sharon Kimbrell and Karen Turner (Jeff Burdick); his grandsons, Justin Hollis Kimbrell (Hope) and Hollis Michael Turner (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Colt James, Titus Michael Turner and Hadley Diane Kimbrell; and his sister-in-law Wilda Kretzschmar. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Jerry to the Gardendale First Baptist Camp David Fund.
