She was predeceased by: her son Charles "Eddie" Edward Lawson, Jr.; and her siblings, Opal Matthews, Ruthie Dill, Vera Mann, Bonnie Davis, Florine Lawrence, Ann Hayes, V. W., O'Neal, Jerry, Lewis and James Edward Lowe.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Sharit; her daughter Xandra Parker (Neal); her granddaughters, Natasha Lang Wright (Zach) and Britney Parker; her great grandchildren, Phoenix Salgado and John-Neal Parker; and her sister Wilma Roberts.
