The memory of Lloyd Abney of Gardendale, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on May 27, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Sue Gray; his son Michael Lloyd Abney; his parents, Albert Abney and Clara Lamons Abney; and his sister Ann Taylor.
He is survived by: his daughter Denise Abney Mann; his son-in-law Oscar Mann; his grandchildren, Allison Abney, Lindsey Mann-Badyrka (Jeff), Brent Abney (Tara), Shane Mann and Jeff Mann (Michele); his sister Betty Anderton; and his great grandchildren, Alyna Abney, Samson Abney, Lily Badyrka, Joseph "JoJo" Badyrka, Mary Catherine Mann, Maggie Mann, Nate Mann and Nolan Mann.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ridout's Gardendale Chapel (2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
