We announce the death of Lon Barry Baggett of Gardendale, Alabama, who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 73. Lon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kyle Baggett and Dot Baggett. He is survived by: his wife Dell; his daughters, Jenny Baggett, Sara Baggett and Lisa Aultman (Joey); his grandchildren, Penny and Luke; his siblings, Richard Baggett (Sherry), Bruce Baggett, Roger Baggett, Donna Baggett, Heather Baggett and Renee King (Rick); and his sister-in-law Leta Wright. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ridout's Gardendale Chapel Chapel (2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, Chapel (2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071).
