He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee McDowell and Edna Bennett Hogeland; his stepmother Doris Thomas McDowell; his brothers, Don and Dan McDowell; and his daughter Heidi Norris.
He is survived by: his wife Sheena; his daughters, Laura McTear (Brendan) and Michaela McDowell; his siblings, Judy McDowell, Kenny McDowell, Barry Hogeland and Gary Hogeland; his stepsiblings, John Cain and Candace Palmer (Don); and also Samie Logan (Daniel). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
