She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend C. C. Lett and Louise Lett. She is survived by: her husband Russell; her son Canyon Rod Russell (Brandie); and her siblings, Travis Lett (Sue) and Roweena Lett Farr (Eric). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in her memory to Smoke Rise Baptist Church, 1550 Scenic Trail, Warrior, AL 35180.

“Buddy, Rod and Family. Phyllis and Buddy were the first neighbors to welcome us to the neighborhood when we moved here from NH 24 years ago. Wonderful people who turned into wonderful friends. Will remember her fondly every time I go into the kitchen to bake (Especially Blueberry Cake or Apple Butter) We Love that Lady with all our hearts and we miss her so much already. Rick & Sue Burdo”
