He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Connell and Bessie Connell; and his siblings, Donald Connell, Clyde Connell, Dorothy Gwin and Willa Dean Harland.
He is survived by: his wife Gara Connell; his daughter Karen Connell; his great grandchild Isaiah Phillips; and his sibling's children, Cheryl Humphries (Bill) and DeWitt Connell. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews, and a host of loving friends.
