He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Connell and Bessie Connell; and his siblings, Donald Connell, Clyde Connell, Dorothy Gwin and Willa Dean Harland.
He is survived by: his wife Gara Connell; his daughter Karen Connell; his great grandchild Isaiah Phillips; his niece Cheryl Humphries (Bill); and his nephew DeWitt Connell. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews, and a host of loving friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ridout's Gardendale Chapel (2029 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
