She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Joseph Hutchins and Dovie Knight Hutchins; her husband Thomas C. Goodwin; her children, Michael Phillips, Richard Phillips and Tommie Goodwin; and her son-in-law Bob Perry.

She is survived by : her children, Judy Perry, Deborah Warren (Jerry) and Philip Goodwin (Debra); and her son-in-law Terry Ernest. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
