We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Sawyer Joseph Stephens (Gardendale, Alabama). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandfather Roderick Gary Stephens. He is survived by: his parents, Roderick Stephens and Melea Stephens; his sister Isadora Stephens (Izzi); his great-grandparents, Ella Claire Hughes and Maxine Johnson; and his grandparents, Gene of Birmingham, Connie Cary of Birmingham and Rae Stephens of Birmingham. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins.

“I so deeply miss you Saw. I often find myself wanting to hear you, see you, touch you, or have you annoy me by jiggling the fat under my arms while laughing your ornery laugh. I'm so thankful God brought you into the world and that your mom and dad shared you with me. While sometimes I think it would be easier to have not known you so that I wouldn't feel this heartache, I can't imagine my life without you. You were an expression of God's love and joy to all of us... Forever grateful Deda”
