He is survived by: his wife Carmen; his children, Lola, Lexi, Luke and Levi; his parents, John Atkinson and Carol Atkinson; his sister Joy Benefield (Jeff); his parents-in-law, Tim and Angie Wilemon; his siblings-in-law, Cassie Perry (Josh), Cara Jewell (Philip) and Caleb Wilemon; his sibling's children, Tenley, Dyson, River Benefield, Carter, Carsyn, Caden, Camden, Camryn, Cooper Perry, Acie and Isaac Jewell; and his close friends, Kyle Little, Kristi Martin and Ashlyn Nilsen.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Gardendale First Baptist Church North Campus (316 Mountain Crest Pkwy, Gardendale, AL 35071). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
