We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2022, at the age of 76, Sharon Sorenson Cornelius of Gardendale, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband W. G. Cornelius, Jr.; her parents, Anthon Sorenson and Leuna Sorenson; and her sister Eloise Cornelius. She is survived by: her children, Todd Cornelius (Staci) and Cris Edwards (William); her sister Judith Wilson (Charles); and her grandchildren, Alissa Cornelius (Zara), Alex Cornelius, Jack Kyzer, Emily Freeburg (Matt) and Jake Edwards.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to THE DAY PLACE LLC, a dementia daycare facility located at 835 Odum Rd. Suite 101 Gardendale, AL 35071 (TheDayPlace.com). Donations can also be made via the VENMO App username: @Angela-Hammond-19.
