It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Mozell Barnes (Gardendale, Alabama), who passed away on February 15, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Clark and Dovie Clark; her husband Charles "Doc" Barnes; and her son Dirk Mason Banes. She is survived by: her children, Rick Barnes (Gini), Deborah Lopez and Wanda Lowery (Ronnie); her sisters, Sue Hampton and Marjorie Jean; and her grandchildren, Tammy Upton (David), Stephanie Vanderslice (Rob), Stacy Rockett (Johnny), Tina Belcher (Tyler), Jon Barnes (Meghan), Kellie Schiffer and Nathan Harris (Kara). She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; many other family members and friends.
