He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Earl Wood and Sequel Donaldson Wood; his wife Helen Ruth Phillips Wood; and his sons, Edward James Wood and Andrew Paul Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Guieth Wood Bader (Nate) and William "Bill" Wood, Jr. (Anna); and his stepdaughter Yja Sanders. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family.
