Maxwell of Gaylesville, Alabama, born in Fort Payne, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2024 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Lott Maxwell and Gladys Beulah Carr Maxwell; his son Michael Snider; and his siblings, Glenn Maxwell, Gordon Maxwell, Mose Maxwell, Doyle Maxwell, Gene Maxwell, Charles Maxwell, Phillip Maxwell, Billy Maxwell, Paulette Terry and Virginia Wade.

He is survived by : his wife Diane Lowery Maxwell; his children, Bobby Maxwell, II, Beverly Maxwell and Brandi Maxwell; and his sister Betty Jo Dake. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mason Funeral Home (320 GA-48, Summerville, GA 30747). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 8th 2024 at the Weiss Lake Memorial Gardens (5070 Main St, Gaylesville, AL 35973).
