She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert Brown and Eunice Aycock Brown; her husband Dr. Charles Wayne Jackson Sr.; her son Dr. Robert Douglas Jackson; her siblings, Marietta Melton, James Brown and Rex Brown; and her grandson Shane Daniel Jackson.
She is survived by: her son Charles Wayne Jackson Jr. (Sherri) of Palm Bay; her granddaughters, Melissa Jackson of Palm Bay and Lilly Jackson (Michael) of Lake Stevens; and her brother Lamar Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
