He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Boyd Hartzog, Sr. and Hilda Blackmon Hartzog; his brother Roy Gene; his in-laws, Tarver and Ara Bowden; and his sister-in-law Elaine.
He is survived by: his significant other Sheila Bowden Hartzog; his children, Eric Hartzog (Libba) and Gina Hussey (Mark); and his grandsons, Cody Long and Dalton Myers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home (2744 W Magnolia Ave, Samson, AL 36477). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the Alabama Baptist Children's Home.
