He is survived by: his wife Donna Burch Powell of Geneva, AL; his children, Stephanie Powell Price (Jimmy) of Troy, AL and Todd Powell (Kimberly) of Thomasville, GA; his grandchildren, Anna Bivin (Bryson), Cara Rushing, Jack Price (Sierra), Michael Powell, Mason Powell, Kayley Powell and Mathew Ambrose; his great grandchild Jameson Price; and his siblings, Roy Powell (Beverly), Genita Drury, Debbie Beckham (Sonny) and Robin Powell (Ashley). He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home (2744 W Magnolia Ave, Samson, AL 36477). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
