He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Ree Smith McKinney; his sons, Billy McKinney (Carol) and Jonathan McKinney (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Amy Roberts, Angie Gonzalez (Tristen), Caden McKinney and Ezra McKinney; his great grandchildren, Alaina and Colleen; and his sister-in-law Estrellia McKinney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
