She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Nathan and Flora Lee Forman Bass; her husband Morris Burkett; her son Robert Earl Burkett; and her grandsons, Jeremy Burkett and Kenneth Burkett.
She is survived by: her children, Gale Harrison, Burt Burkett, Patricia Burkett, Dwane Burkett and Hilda Wells. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
