Sara leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sara’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Sara will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Sperlen Hatcher and Jessie Mae Hatcher (Gibbons); her husband Joe Earl Hundley; and her son Derek Lee Hundley. She is survived by: her children, Allan Hundley (Pam) and Donna Gamble (Mickey); her grandchildren, Jessica Gamble, Anna Johnson (Reeves) and Nick Hundley; her great grandchild Bennett Johnson; and her brother Peter Hatcher. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Maple Avenue Baptist Church (1009 W Maple Ave, Geneva, AL 36340). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
