Vera Holmes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Holmes of Geneva, Alabama, who passed away on April 18, 2026, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Loretta; and her siblings, Lorraine and Ronnie Williams. She is survived by: her children, Matthew Lambert (Julianna) of Samson, AL, Amy Romeka (Doug) of Hosford, FL and Alisha Martinez (David) of Gainesville, FL; her grandchildren, Dresden, Lucas, Melanie, Samantha (Sam), Lola, Isaiah, Kristen, Joshua, Jaden (Trenton), Kaitlyn, Leah, Aryanna, Isabel, Esther and David Josiah (D. J.); her siblings, Charles (Jeff), Bruce, Verlon, Timothy Williams (Tim) and Melody Powell (Williams); and her friend Mary Jones. She is also survived by family in Mayo, Florida: her father.
