He was predeceased by : his parents, Leon McNeil and Lillie Bell McNeil; and his former life partner Barbara Ann McNeil. He is survived by : his children, Christy Bennett (Chris), Jamie McNeil (Jennifer), Gregory Waites (Brandi), Andrew Waites (Ashley) and Grace McNeil; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Kailyn Bennett, Kelsey, Lucas McNeil, Heather Waites, Nicholas Kelso, Shawn Thomas Kelso, Maggie Scruggs, Austin Waites, Liam Waites, Olivia and Owen Waites; and his siblings, Frankie Gaston (Larry), Gail Blackmon, Danny McNeil (Rena), Eddie McNeil (Roxanne) and Debbie Stewart. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
