It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert David Luman Jr. of Georgiana, Alabama, who passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Robert David departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert David may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert David leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Major Robert D. Luman, Sr. and Virginia Welch Luman. He is survived by: his wife Linda Whittle Luman; his nieces, Bonnie Whittle Staley and Carla Whittle; his great-niece Olivia Green; and his great-nephews, Ian Goth, Connor Goth, Jack Green and Dawson Goth.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Industry Church of Christ (2763 Cook Bridge Rd, Georgiana, AL 36033).
