He is survived by: his wife Patricia Faye Combs; his children, Sherri Hardin (Wayne), Wanzetta Combs, Loretta Mitchell (Bart), Margaret Brown (Mike) and Michael Combs; his siblings, Sue Wilkerson, Judy Rowell and Marcus Combs; his grandchildren, Andrew Mitchell, Megan Feist, Jesse Brown and Alex Combs; and his great grandchildren, Peter Mitchell, Claudia Mitchell, Matilda Mitchell and Jackson Feist.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986).
