He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Ivey; his granddaughter Kelley Baughtman Brothers (William); and his sisters, Gurline Swanger and Mary Ann Robinson. He is survived by: his children, Terry Ivey (Wanda) and Lynn Baughtman (Matthew); and his siblings, Howard Ivey, Rosie Pointer, Carolyn Kilgore and Molly Ivey. He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Geraldine Funeral Home (11968 AL-227, Geraldine, AL 35974). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
