With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rubye Richey Turner of Geraldine, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Rubye departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Rubye may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Rubye leaves behind.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Geraldine Funeral Home (11968 AL-227, Geraldine, AL 35974). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
