She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Reese Jimerson and Bertie Jenkins Jimerson; her husband Samuel Mason Gibson; her son-in-law Jimmy Dew; and her brothers, Reese Lamar Jimerson, John L. Jimerson, Clarence Junior Jimerson, Rayvon Lee Jimerson and Bobby Jimerson.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Dew (Wayne) of Gilbertown, Betty Dew of Gilbertown, Randy Gibson (Darlene) of Gilbertown and Sandra Gibson (Greg) of Silas; and her sister Sybil Frederick (Delbert) of Hammond, Louisiana. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bumpers Funeral Home (302 Vanity Fair Ave, Butler, AL 36904). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
