She was predeceased by: her son Joey "Joe Bill" Lewis; her parents, Rev. Andrew J. Covington and Lillian Gaylor Covington; her parents-in-law, S. A. "Doc" Lewis and Sadie Sikes Lewis; and her sister Sandra Lockhart.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Clovis B. Lewis; her daughter Judi Lewis McIlwain (Tim) of Gilbertown, AL; her grandchildren, Cara McIlwain Roberts (Landrum) of Mobile, AL, Andrew McIlwain of Mobile, AL, Deacon Lewis (Madison) of Quitman, MS, Ethan Lewis (Cadence) of Gilbertown, AL and Jesse Lewis of Gilbertown, AL; and her great grandchildren, Ethan Davis, Emilee Brownlee, Judith Roberts and John Mark Roberts.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heritage Church of God (161 Main St, Gilbertown, AL 36908). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
