She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Jo Smith Gunn; her son Larry Brian Adams; her father Edwin Lamar Gunn; her mother-in-law Vernell Cooper; and her niece Susan Buffington.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Dale Adams of Gilbertown, AL; her daughter Nikki Adams McCain (Scott) of Aquilla, AL; her siblings, Jim Gunn of Stonewall, MS and Gail Gunn Buffington (Wendell) of Quitman, MS; and her grandsons, Colton McCain and Brandon McCain.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (116 Main St, Gilbertown, AL 36908). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
