He was predeceased by : his son Donovan O'Neal James; his father Carl McHenry; his brother Michael E. McHenry; and his grandparents, Joe, Martha Diamond, Russell and Leona McHenry.

He is survived by : his mother Elsie D. Green of Gilbertown, AL; his brothers, Joseph McHenry of Gilbertown, AL and Don Green, Jr. of Pass Christian, MS; and his fiancé Stacy Lynn Brewer of Gilbertown, AL..

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (116 Main St, Gilbertown, AL 36908). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
