He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Whitehead and Willie Harbin Whitehead; his wife Frances Whitehead; his grandson Justin Whitehead; and his brothers, Roland, Arlon and James Ralph Whitehead.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Whitehead (Vickie) and Tim Whitehead (Paige); his grandchildren, Chad Whitehead (Jessie), Brad Whitehead (Chesley) and Kayla Smith (Sammy); and his great grandchildren, Connor, Peyton, Chloe, Caylee, Aubree, Brooke, Luke and Kyson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Berea Church of Christ. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the Adjoining Cemetery.
