With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Barbara A Bailey of Gordo, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Garnett Howell and Bertha McAteer Howell; and her siblings, Jack Howell (Octavia), Frank Howell, Ralph Howell (Mary), Mildred Faber (Don) and Ruth Glass (Bill).
She is survived by: her spouse Sammy Bailey; her children, Donna Sanders (Sammy) and Kim Dyer (Mitch); her grandchildren, Jacob Sanders (Emmie), Kelsey Dyer Langdon (Thomas) and Morgan Sanders Dover (Steven); and her great grandchildren, Bailey and Anabeth Langdon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Methodist Church (310 S Main St, Gordo, AL 35466). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or Cornerstone Methodist Church, P. O. Box 343, Gordo, AL 35466.
