He was predeceased by : his siblings, Lera Mae Acker and William Lynn Acker; and his parents, James Walter Acker and Anna Mae Bearden Acker. He is survived by : his brothers, Thomas Earl Acker, Henry Larry Acker and David Lee Acker (Nell). He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
