June Windham Pinion Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of June Windham Pinion of Gordo, Alabama, who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Jerry R. Windham; her husband Rev. Brannon S. Pinion; her daughter Rebecca "Becky" Brown; her brother Clarence Johnson; and her parents, James Lester Johnson and Allie Lois Moore Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda W. Cowart (Bobby) of Gordo and Robin W. Lancaster (Dale) of Gordo; her stepchildren, Valerie P. Smith and Wayne Pinion; her son-in-law Walter E. Brown (Sharon) of Gordo; her siblings, Frances Smith of Fayette and Ray Johnson (Lorene) of Northport; her grandchildren, Jason Cowart (Rena), Kari C. Hudson (Seth), Clinton Brown (Abby), John Lancaster (Morgan) and Reid Lancaster (Sarah); and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Celie, Meredith, Ann Carsyn, Allie, Colter, Weston, Sawyer, Leah, Judson and Mila.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hargrove Methodist Church Cemetery (3538 Co Rd 57, Gordo, AL 35466).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Hargrove Cemetery Fund, c/o Janice Tate, 2267 Fellowship Church Road, Gordo, AL 35466 or to Moores Bridge Baptist Church, c/o Sheila Ellis, 18244 Boyd Road, Elrod, AL 35458.
