He was predeceased by: his son Carlin Bryan Homan; his siblings, Curtis Homan and Dianna Homan Burkhalter; his nephew Joshua Homan; his mother-in-law Edna Erle Tilley; his brother-in-law Clayburn Driver; and his parents, John Homan and Nedra Pate Homan.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia T. Homan; his daughter Tara Homan Cargile (Josh); his grandchildren, Marlaina Cargile and John Marlin Homan; his siblings-in-law, Wayne Burkhalter, Sid Tilley (Pam), Sandra Morgan (Barry) and Pam Homan; and his sibling's children, Dawn, Shellia, Dellinda, Amber, Annie, Zeke and Justin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Skelton Funeral Home Chapel (2105 2nd St SW, Reform, AL 35481). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Cornerstone Methodist Church, P.O. Box 343, Gordo, AL 35466 or to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
