She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Eva Mae Kelley and Louis Duhon; her husband Gary Koon; her daughters, Kristen and Brittney Elliott; her grandson Grayson Beck; her siblings, Pat Gotte (Lee), Faye Cart, Celine Bourque, Glenn Larive (Sabrina), David Dautreuil and Troy Hebert; and her close friends, Kathryn Shinstock, Lisa Livingston, Heather Pugh and Bernice Hewitt.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Skelton Funeral Home (2105 2nd St SW, Reform, AL 35481). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Skelton Funeral Home Chapel (2105 2nd St SW, Reform, AL 35481).
