It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Erhart of Gordon, Alabama, who passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Charles departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Charles leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Erhart and Mary Louise Erhart; and his brother Jimmy Wayne Cobb. He is survived by: his partner Kay Beasley; his brother James Roger Cobb (Susan); and his stepchildren, Dwayne Beasley (Tammy) and Lynn Holloway. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and twenty one great-grandchildren.
