He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Prevatt and Edna Jarvis Prevatt; and his siblings, Jay Prevatt, Jr., Mable Glass, Juanita Tice and Inez Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda Prevatt; his children, Tyla Holloway (Terry) and Jonathan Prevatt (Gabby); his grandson Tanner Holloway; his siblings, Tim Prevatt (Carol), James Prevatt (Melanie), Joyce Baxley, Abbie Sheppard (Kevin) and Phillip; and his sister-in-law Jacquelyn Dodson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home (2414 Hartford Hwy, Dothan, AL 36305). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Watermark Church (103 Elmer Rd, Ashford, AL 36312).
